Acara bergengsi tahunan The Game Awards 2018 kembali hadir untuk mengumumkan video game terbaik tahun 2018. Dalam acara kali ini, masih sama seperti sebelumnya diselenggarakan oleh Geoff Keighley di Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles pada 6 Desember 2018 atau 7 Desember 2018 08:30 Pagi waktu Indonesia.
Ada penambahan 10 nominasi pada tahun ini, jadi total ada 30 Pemenang dari berbagai kategori. Serta banyaknya pengumuman game terbaru dalam acara ini.
